Radar & Daily Motion

In a break from my usual posts about movies, music and comedy, I thought I would post about... technology.

Radar is a new website which allows users to upload their photos from their mobiles onto a personal webpage. This webpage can be accessed by either phone internet (I've tried it - it works) or regular internet.

Check it out at http://radar.net

Also, take a look-see at Daily Motion (http://www.dailymotion.com) which seems to host a startling number of TV series. Seen as the only reason I use YouTube is to watch Kenny Vs Spenny, music videos, footage from recording sessions and stand-up, this is very good.

Check out http://www.tv-links.co.uk/ for some serious TV action.

So, that's the downfall of MySpace and YouTube taken care of. I looked at FaceBook this morning to see if it was worthwhile but it seems to be based solely for the purpose of chatting up students who share your views on utilitarianism and collect posters of Karl Marx. I'll pass.

Coops

PS Check out http://lovelydayforaguinness.blogspot.com for a blow-by-blow account of my bro's trip around Vegas with his depraved friend (in what critics are calling Fear and Thumbs in Las Vegas) :D

I love film

Hi,

Just a quick one - I might do a longer post at the end of the week.

If you head over to http://www.lovefilm.com/partners/train.html you can join LoveFilm and get some DVDs in a free trial. This isn't new news but the fact that they will pay you £10 is.

Money for watching films? Yes please!

Wednesday's Random Music Post

I downloaded MR2 a couple of weeks ago from Diplo's Myspace page and thought I'd better get round to posting about it seen as it appeared on Zane Lowe's show in it's unmixed form. The orginal is good, don't get me wrong but the Diplo mix makes you dance in that funny way where you constrain your arms and bob about a bit...what, only me? Shit.

On the other hand Van She's Kelly and the Kelis remix both make you want to jump around. The Van She song sounds like early Daft Punk and when the Bossy remix explodes in an MDMA rainbow at the one minute mark how can you not smile?

Yay.

Kelis ft Too $hort - Bossy (alan braxe and fred falke remix)
